It seems the ball has now started to roll and is picking up speed. One ccTLD and gTLD after another (even the crappy ones).. to people with closed minds to anything other than English it certainly must look strange.. or possibly like some giant worldwide conspiracy.. it can't be that these things are actually going to be in demand.. right? It seems every registry now wants to give people these options with their domain :) The transition of acceptance both to users and to investors should be quick.. and once it happens in hindsight what will seem most baffling is why they lay dormant and almost unheard of for nearly 10 years.

One of the worst extensions ever!

WTF, does a Japanese person and a Pakistani have in common? Might as well have a ".northamerica" and ".antartica". Maybe penguins will start using the web.

They want in on the coming wave of change on the internet...

China and India with their huge populations can probably suck up these extensions mind you. ;)
They are going to need a lot more internet addresses with a billion online users between them before long.

facts are now plain...

matching language content to URL's language is obvious ...

And all the gnso/ccnso wg doc's show that existing gtld's will proceed with variants in the root, and variants blocked in the root.

dot asia ....is a nice joe to go first...
verisign can smile all the way to the bank 60 to 90 days later or whatever.....
