I agree with domainguru, strange that he is thinking of selling them though.

Actually not that strange if he has way better names than those or if he really needs the cash.

Otherwise one might think that even here there are very few who actually believe in IDN's.
This was seen in the .co thread (very embarrassing to say the least ) on this forum.
I mean if this is finally happening and these .com's are going to be what some people think there going to be, then movies is not a name I would give up, at this stage. We obviously don't know the reasons and I'm sure there are good ones, but its none of our business so all we can do is speculate. Isn't that what domains are all about?? ;) Just kidding.

$50 is my bid. If casino in Korea went for "so much" then even 007 from Russia with all my love wouldn't pay much more..:o

Well everything depends on the price right? Its not like Michael is trying to give them away for reg fee.... everything has a price, even top-notch IDN domains.

Everything is for sale...for the right price.
Well maybe a very few exceptions. ;)

Well obviously not everything has a price. Take my 11-year old son, for example .... no I mean, just take him, please ;)

I don't get the drama. I think we forget why we are in this game. It's not just to collect domains like pokemon, it's to make money/profit, and turn a decent roi.

I suggest a proper idnforums, no reserve, auction. You can replicate my format like Jose did.

As the saying goes:

"If you need to ask, you cannot afford it!"

Frankly speaking, there are no names that are way better than those.
This is as high as it gets.

Put him up for auction and we'll see who wins.

I think you would need to prove your financial credentials before negotiation on the price could even start.

Names like this are beyond attempts at appraisal .
type in.....a bullshit metric for English let alone the other 10 major languages.

search traffic...exact or broad....very relative depending on the vertical topic...

# of results again very relative.

branding potential.... limitless
yes ..on hotels.com
abysmal no on pets.com ...

depth of pockets of IDNF membership....?
I am not sure if more than 2 or 3 people that frequent on the forum has spent greater than

8,000 to 10,000 for an IDN ?

Selling for more than $10,000 is a different story from buying for more than $10,000.

But everything is changing.

Gold at $1260 is so bizarre, compared to the likely ROI on well chosen IDN's to buy or to even hand reg even at this point.

Michael may get good offers.

I hope he does.

テレビ.com sold for approximately $7200. That was completely top tier. An absolutely shocking good purchase. I think we can rest assured that a bargain like that will never be seen again, IMHO. Well, who knows.
