In 2005, the English search term "music" got 25 times more searches than the main Thai search term for music = "เพลง" ( http://www.google.com/trends?q=%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%87%2Cmusic&ctab=0&geo=all&date=2005&sort=0 )
But by 2010, this has reduced to just over 3 times the number of searches ( http://www.google.com/trends?q=%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%87%2Cmusic&ctab=0&geo=all&date=2010&sort=0 ).

According to Google, it is the most searched Thai keyword bar none (http://www.google.com/trends?q=%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%9E%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%87%2C%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%AA%E0%B9%8C&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0 ) , and clearly high up in the list of searched IDN terms worldwide.
