Yes, but what he doesn't say is that Federal Government is on the verge of insolvency. The Chinese loans are now nearly all short maturities and they have just down graded US Sovereign Debt and given it a negative outlook.

If nobody else will lend the money then Bernanke has no option but to print it regardless of the impact on the economy.
