So what? Someone wants to build a site with that keyword and he knows damn well that he is not gonna get the .com or .net for pennies so he goes for some other extension.

Its interesting what you say about .cc being used/prefered over the other extensions you mention.

Would the following be a correct chart of the tlds for Arabic ( not including local cctlds of course ! )
1) .com
2) .net
3) .cc
4) all the rest ?

Where would you place .tv ?? On level with .cc or in the "all the rest" group ?
