Found this in one of my German newspapers today. Didn't find an English version so I translated it for you:
Support for Putin is declining according to a survey by the center for strategic studies(?) in Moscow
Outside Moscow 34% of people are dissatisfied with government work
In Moscow it's 46%
Rich people are less loyal than the poor ones
There's an elite group of 500,000 people including top managers and high-level officials. "They are the best qualified and best informed people in Moscow. They are unhappy with the restrictions to their economic freedom and with the business climate in Russia." says Sergej Belanowskij, co-author of the survey.
An owner of a design office complains: "This state is a robber band. It doesn't make sense to expand my business since all agencys have to share their earnings with corrupt officials." Elitist magazine "Snob" (:D) comments: "The worst thing about Putin is, that he is a brazen-faced liar".
