Anyone else is having problems with thier hosting? i.e. account being constantly shut down, thier stuff is close to being incompetent, long wait time on phone? i can go on...

any recommendations for good hosting provider with obviously IDN capability?

I use hostgator. lots of opinions of them as well. I do like their online help, they have always been helpful :) 9.99/month unlimited domains sortof a starter package. Once the traffic starts rolling you will need to upgrade or change hosting providers.
