without anything attached it's not a stand alone word. if you add .net which means (no), the term becomes (no books).
no good in .com .

They are all correct, even книг.net is correct in its own Russian way, only very limited to the name (No Books)

IMO I would keep it, I believe it has some potential for branding. An ereader/kindle downloadable books/pdf type site (no hardback books kinda thing). definitely worth renewal fee (.org, t.v, .tel all gone ;) )

depends on how you brand it.

Net means No in Russian.
could also mean network. it depends on how you use the keyword before the dot.
