The word is not Turkish but leaving that fact aside and assuming it was Turkish, I hope the following says something to you:

All capital version of casıno.com would be CASINO.com (which is on your post and which is misleading).
All capital version of casino.com would be CASİNO.com.

Go for 3000/ month exact minimum. Some people here have higher standards and say minimum 10,000 exact. Under 3000 and you are quite likely to be not commercially viable depending on keyword values

Well, the buyer probably googled the term from the sales page which was in ASCII capital letters. Also Google seems to automatically show the results for "casino" when searching for "casıno". Surely misleading but still pretty damn stupid as no one in a clear state of mind would expect to get CASINO.COM for 2k.

Fools and their money are often parted in Casıno's!

I don't care about the seller. The ones winning on their first casino visit eventually become the best possible casino customers losing more than what they won before.

The real sad thing is the fact that Sedo is still totally incapable of distinguishing the crap IDNs from the quality ones. They clearly don't understand IDN and believe this is some kind of synonym for look-alike shit. As you know it's an almost impossible task to get any IDN (apart from Umlaut.de ones maybe) listed at their "premium" auctions.

do you not think that there is a scenario whereby the fool that is buying, stumbles across an indexed page with their domain name in that is being publicly called out as a fraud, that results in the buyer wising up and walking.

or

the name and shame (http://sedo.com) of Sedo allowing this, encourages a policy change at Sedo

I was being facetious,if this thread or similar has resulted in someone not getting crapped on by buying garbage names then it has had it's value.

I use my blog to make sure as many of them (crap IDN names) as possible get indexed as currently there at least 4 on auction at Sedo, around 20 more in "featured names" .

I was told by a senior person at Sedo that they were addressing the matter but as yet that is certainly not happening and seems to be getting worse. As Sedo have been advised on numerous occasions about this problem perhaps they consider it is acceptable which would be really sad.

I would like to think that they have simply yet to address the problem and find a solution because it would appear that nobody on their compliance team knows anything about IDN unless it has an umlaut.
