Had emails from this guy in China baigreen223 @gmail.com / baigr @58.com
with this message:

".cn domain Foreign individuals can not renew it .

I'm a Chinese.

If you want to minimize losses, you can sell these domains to me on lower price.

I'd like to see your price for each domain.

Thanks."

Not too many here with .cn now but an interesting take which of course is bollocks if the names were registered before Nov 2010 there is no problem.

Maybe backing IDNERS thoughts regarding Chinese interest in idn.cn.
Anyway, beware!

I've been able to renew every .cn I have. No problems. As long as they are not porno sites or anti-gov. you should have no problems. Seems like you may have some good .cn's.

So have I.

Just pointing out the approach of this guy who maybe thought he could get away with scare tactics.

Yes, I have a couple of good ones! :) Maybe!

Had a $2K offer from China for one of the more premium last month but decided to wait a little longer.
