Can anyone confirm 业务 is the primary for business in simplified chinese

Strangely both 業務.com & .net registered by TDC so blocks the simplified version.

Business in English does have quite a few meanings. I very much doubt you'll find an exact equivalent with all these meanings in Chinese. Instead you'd have a term for each aspect of the English word business (company, trade, commerce, industry... ). 公司 looks like the best term, but it's more like company.

I don't speak Chinese though. So you'd better wait for a native.

Tis the traditional version which blocks the one you are asking about.

TDC,major player in the IDN world.Many prime terms from 2000.

Is their a preference to whether the 888 is prefix or suffix i wonder ?

業務 is the trad term but also the Japanese term (I dropped 業務.jp a while ago).

The term means "business activities" or "business matters" etc in Chinese. It is not equivalent to "Business" in English.
