It is difficult to tell when this auction will end. Several times over the last 4 days, the seller has said "24 hours"; and yet the auction continues. The original post states that the auction ends 60 hours after the last bid, but that doesn't seem to be happening either.

Will the seller please clarify when or how this auction ends?

There is no fixed ending time. It ends 60 hours after the last bid which means that each bid extends the auction by 60 hours. So whenever I post "24 hours" this means the auction will end in 24 hours UNLESS a new bid is placed.

The current bid by htmlindex was placed about 12 hours ago so right now there would be 48 hours remaining.

This is the standard auction format in this forum. That way it takes a while to complete the auction but there's also a BIN (buy it now) option if you can't wait.

Hope that helps.

Sold through PM.

Sorry to come up with this so late. Actually I was waiting for the buyer to show up here to confirm so I hope he does.

I'm not even sure what the rules are in this case (if there are any) so I'll contact the buyer again.

Yes, I bought this one -- essentially at the BIN price but included in a larger transaction.

Lol, that you should keep for yourself dude. Don't go public implying you may have bought the name for less than BIN, it's a tad unethical

I know but it sounds just like it. or perhaps its just me, in which case it wouldn't be the first time. :-p

Nothing unethical. This auction was set up to sell the domain either to the high bidder or to anybody paying the BIN price. I paid the BIN price and also paid for additional domains from the same seller, which brought the total price to an amount much higher than the BIN. Anybody else could have done precisely the same thing. And that means the process was open to everybody, and the auction rules were followed. Anybody could have bought this domain at the BIN price and also worked out additional purchases from this seller, right?

I never offered a discount on the BIN in question. So I hope everyone's okay with that.

right right, my apologies.

It's just that "essentially at BIN" had me a bit confused.

In any event I know the beeman would not have done that.

cheers to everyone
