Cherokee IDN website on .net. Probably the first IDN in Cherokee to go live.

Cherokee is an Iroquoian language spoken by the Cherokee people which uses a unique syllabary writing system.

Now to whitelisting the Cherokee IDN in browsers

Safari on Mac OSX — I edited /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/IDNScriptWhiteList.txt and added Cherokee. Whitelisting works on Mountain Lion but not Lion ie Mountain Lion Safari shows unicode form in safari address bar but Lion shows punycode form

Google Chrome on Mac OSX — Cherokee does not appear in the pop up for choosing language in preferences for whitelisting. So in both OSX Lion and Mountain Lion I cannot whitelist.

Anyone looked at whitelisting Cherokee IDNs in other browsers or have different findings to me?
