I would appreciate confirmations, especially from native speakers if these are the correct terms & your thoughts on these names. What are the difference between the 2 names? Are any of the below names PRIME terms?
カー

Car(s)

クルマ

Comments greatly appreciated :)

yes they mean car, but only because you can transliterate anything using that script (katakana)
the prime term for car is: 車
the prime term for automobile is: 自動車
i'm not a Japanese native, but I know my apples

カー is transliteration of English "car". It's at best brandable. Personally, I don't like it. カー.jp looks to me more like [kaa].jp than [car].jp. But that might be just me.
クルマ, くるま and 車 are all read "kuruma" in Japanese, which means cars. I don't know which one is the best. None of them seems to have that many search volumes. I guess people tend to search with more specific terms. Of course, that is not to say more specific terms are more valuable.

Why do you think so? 自動車, just like automobile in English, sounds a bit too stiff to me as an ideal domain name.
