Twitter Thai Hashtags

I have just noticed that twitter now supports thai hashtags eg #ภาษาไทย

It appears to have happened sometime in April. Anyone have more accurate information on the date thai hashtags went live and what was the reaction in Thailand?

I just tried Hebrew and Hebrew twitter hashtags now also work eg #עִבְרִית‬

I think this is much more recent but I do not know the date when hebrew twitter hashtags went live

Japanese hashtags have been accepted since last July. I thought that was the case with all other languages.

Japanese hashtags have been accepted since last July. I thought that was the case with all other languages.
Twitter appear to be implementing languages/scripts on a case by case basis. The languages/scripts I have, so far, found to work as hashtags are: Japanese ( as you point out), Chinese, Korean, Russian(Cyrillic), Arabic, Thai and Hebrew.
