$0

The best way to determine value (IMO) is to check Google exact search. If no one searches for the term, then the domain won't get any natural search, and certainly no type-in.

Google adsense keyword tool (GAKT), not Google search.

Google search just tells you how many webpages feature the term as a keyword. It doesn't tell you how many people are searching for that term using Google.

For GAKT go to https://adwords.google.com

Obviously some countries (like Korea) have other search engines that are very popular, but GAKT still gives you a good indication of a term's popularity.

Exact GAKT for 갬블링 is <10. This is very bad.

Compare it with 도박: 390 (not good either, but better than 갬블링)

i have read that google desktop search market share is 2% in korea so results should be interpreted with caution.

less than 10 is still very bad

Yes, true. But even with less than 5% of the desktop market, it is an indicator (not brilliant, but something).

It's also worth pointing out that Google has a good slice of the mobile search market, where most of the Asian 'type-in' (if we can call it that) is coming from at present.
