Don't see a bulk tool to transfer plus not sure how safe domains are with hostgator although their reputation with hosting is rock solid.

Jeez... this would save me (us all) a shitload... but just can't trust Host Gator with my domains :(. Wouldn't be worth the savings, especially if anything goes wrong.

Well I did give it a try only to find the following ...

1) When I try and transfer an IDN - I get a message saying that the domain is not registered.

2) Looks like my attempt to transfer some ASCII domains have resulted in my credit card being blocked by the CC company.

Not sure if anyone else has had any success with this, but for me, its not worth the hassle.

I assume you used the punycodes when trying to transfer your IDN? If that resulted in an error, this is really useless and my apologies for posting this in the first place.

They are in the process of refunding me. I was on the phone with them for about 30-40 minutes explaining what an IDN is and what happened. Surprisingly the customer service guy was really nice and did catch on fast. I'm just not sure if the people he was consulting with knew what i was referring to.
