Dear Client,

We would like to inform you of changes in the way parking services are
provided.

To provide tier one domain monetization services it may be necessary for
NameDrive to disclose your stored data (such as Name, First Name, Company,
(Company-)Address, Email and Phone Number) to our main advertising partner.
As our customer, this will happen without the need of any action on your
part.

You will find a detailed description of our main advertiser developments
here on our blog: http://blog.namedrive.com/?p=2073

If you do not wish to grant your consent for the disclosure of the data you
provided during the sign up process, you can raise an objection via email
to park[@]namedrive.com within 10 days after receiving this email. Raising
an objection against the disclosure of your information will automatically
prevent your account from receiving ads provided by our main advertising
partner. You will only be able to monetize your domains via our alternative
advertising feeds.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at park[@]namedrive.com if you have
any questions.

Best regards,

Your NameDrive Team

We have to provide OUR personal information to "main advertising partner" by "main advertising partner" won't even allow us to know who THEY are.

Have they got something to hide? Maybe they're linked to the Taliban?

Very one-sided, isn't it?

I got the same email this morning, and was also wondering what that was all about. I only have a few domains left at Namedrive now, after moving the majority over to ParkingCrew.

Similar thing recently sent round by Sedo as well so I guess it will be coming from all parking providers eventually?

Yes

[..] this change is due to new requirements by Google for its domain parking program. Google is trying to monitor parking clients across multiple parking services that use Google’s advertising feeds. [..]

NSA have taken over from Google.

That's why the payouts are so stingy!

Yes the mysterious advertising partner wants to know who you are without revealing himself.

But why hide? Everyone knows that G***** is buying typo and TM traffic.

Hi all,

It is correct that all parking providers that use G will have to make these changes.

Since we know that some of our clients do not wish their personal information to be disclosed, we offer the option to switch to our alternative feeds. If you send us an email at park@namedrive.com and raise an objection we will not disclose any of your information.
Please feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.

Regards,
Indra

Are these alternative feeds keyword targeted?

NameDriven

Yes, the ads are keyword targeted CPC and CPA. We will take care of the categorization.

NameDrive has failed to provide complete and correct information regarding their "1st tier advertising partner," such as full business name and contact information, despite repeated requests to do so, no information has been forthcoming.

Google knows all

Google certainly wants to know all, yet we are not even allowed to know their name.

They remind me amazingly of top secret US Government spy agencies, NSA, cough cough.

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised at ND in particular, crap as they are. *All* parking companies are being forced to do this by the G branch of the NSA.

And if we all tell Google to take a flying leap, our traffic will go to the alternative providers instead, and they will gain momentum.
