Great news, thanks for bringing to IDNF's attention. Now the big question is when would Verisign stop being its own enemy and move forward towards the delegation of the translits of IDN.coms and .nets?

Good decisions!

Some excerpts:

According to the Objectors, Regtime has since 2001 sold its КОМ Cyrillic products to approximately 30,000 unique customers, including many prominent companies inside and outside of the Russian Federation, such as Amazon.com.

According to the Objectors, Regtime has since 2001 sold its ОРГ Cyrillic products to approximately 30,000 unique customers, including many prominent clients inside and outside of the Russian Federation.

Really? The same number of customers for .орг as for .ком?

It should also be noted in this regard that the Respondent [PIR] has offered to alleviate the concerns of Objectors and their customers, and has offered to make available to the users of Regtime’s ОРГ Cyrillic products identical registrations in the new <.орг> gTLD for the first year at no charge to the registrar of the domain names, subject to applicable ICANN requirements.

Hey, PIR, don't forget the registrants of [cyrillic].org!

I wouldn't be surprised if .орг goes live before .ком, because PIR is less likely to squabble about its contract with ICANN.

Anyway, good news!
