I checked domestic forums like domain.cn and ename.cn but did not find that who was reporting the news, it's a bit interesting. Any Chinese domainers here on IDNForums notice this as well?

It appears TLD registry have issued the press release.

It's the Macao auction tomorrow so I guess plenty of info there.
