Simple Formulas to use to decide to register something or sell?

1. Does it make sense?
2. Did I ever buy this or know anyone that did?
3. Can I see money attached from this word?
4. Can I see a clear easy way of a business making money "BECAUSE" of this term?
5. Is the word used by itself?
6. Would you buy it from someone?
7. Is it a product, online service, or commercial?
8. Does anyone related with the term fly around the world with company business accounts?
9. Does it make good sense?
10. Would you be willing to keep this in your domain portfolio for 2 registrations? Give up going to a few fancy places etc?

Excellent information!! Wish I had it a couple months ago - LOL.
I cut and pasted this to put right in front of me, and added a #11 - is it legal to
own and sell (as in my blunder with registering a famous (tm) college name!)

Excellent list, adding:
Is this a "keyword" that will by typed in?
Can I identify a potential enduser to market or sell idn to?
ie. word "tractor.com/.net" plenty of tractor companies to market it to...
