Its all starting to unravel.

Android is starting to get on my nerves almost as much as IOS.

I will stay with Samsung if they dump Android.

Wonder how much money Negari paid Google.

Bit of an overstatement by Wired, since it's clear that all of Alphabet's properties are staying on the .com (google.com, youtube.com, calicolabs.com).

But an eye-catching title.

Thanks to Google’s Alphabet, .Xyz Will End .Com Dominance (http://www.wired.com/2015/08/alphabet-rewrites-the-domain-name-game/)

“Obviously, Google believes in it if they’re rebranding on .xyz,” he told me after the news of Alphabet and its new URL broke.

Thing is, they're not rebranding. Alphabet is a holding company. The brands are staying right where they are. It's like saying Geico is changing its name to Berkshire Hathaway.

How long do you think it will take for Negari to start charging premium renewal fees for premium .xyz properties?

What will Google do then?

Google should have just bought .xyz outright from them, that gtld really wasn't going anywhere .....they might have got a
deal on it if they negotiated thru a (discrete) 3rd party.

abc.xyz appears to be used for the parent company, then they have their various divisions underneath.

I don't think anyone is going to stop typing in google.com anytime soon. ;)

Negari has always been a winner.

In his own mind.
