View Full Version : No new members -verification email not working

21st June 2019, 10:18 PM
Hello, I heard that verification emails for new members are not going out. So no one is able to verify a new account and post. I will get my friend to try and register to verify this. Have we had any new members posting? We desperately need new members. It is the same 10 people online for the past 10 years.

Email verification not work since 2011 til now
Hundred members try to register monthly and can't post
I saw known People from there nicknames in domain industry try to register but they left because there account didn't verified
I sent notice about that many times to some admins here but problem same
In 2011 I remembered domainer email me about that and I told bill bhwissc and he manually activate his account after waiting 4 weeks
That's all

2011? Oh my God! No wonder the forum is dead. Have we really not had a new member post since 2011? Can anyone find posts from new members on here?

If this really is a forum issue, I think the answer can be found somewhere on here:

There is a section for version 3.8 of Vbulletin

The number of members has been increasing slowly as I checked the Wayback Machine. But I don't see any new members posting.

My headline should have included a question mark, but I couldn't change it after the original post. This is great that it works. But I'm still waiting for the IDN market to explode.

Sorry for the false alarm. Everything seems to be working fine. Thanks to the admins and moderators for keeping this forum going.
