Yes, there is still hope for IDN's. Also, 札幌.com changed hands recently. That's Sapporo in Japanese. I think it was dropped and went to Dynadot auction but am unsure of the end price. Does anyone know?

I believe the best languages in the near future is 1- Germany for sure 2- Chinese will up soon 3- Korean 4- Arabic

Arabic will get high activity because huge events and activity talk about we need everything Arabic and the new idn cctld like .مصر and .السعودية and .امارات use millions of dollars budget to advertise the exts and most Arab will go for .com idn when ccctld get much activity - the high budget in advertising will help

Korean I believe very much of the language , that this language will get more activity and who hold some good names will sell for good prices sooner
Germany , the time out to invest , every thing taken and the language up already
For China and Japan the big pop. Will up the market for idn but very slowly

German did have most high sales so far with some IDNs even not even selling at a discount to the ASCII version which I find surprising.

Most words in the German language can't use IDN though and I don't know if there have been recent sales.

Chinese has the most mid and long-term potential IMO due to the large market size and a large number of investors but IDNs are still not very popular. Most decent dictionary words that drop have several backorders on them.

Japanese domains are very cheap now but don't have a real market.
