Translation help needed!

I registered الجديدة.com earlier this morning, as I thought it was the name of a Moroccan city (it still maybe), but I just found out that it has close to 10 million Google results - is there any other meaning to this name?

Systran gives this as New but I wouldnt rely on that too much. (Though I see a lot of 'New' words in the google results)
A different translator I used gives it as El Jadida

El Jedida is the name of the Moroccan city that I was trying to register - but 10 million results for a city with only just above 100,000 residents is a wayyyyyyyy too much.

"الجديدة" means "new" (feminin).
