$6, almost ;) .

I'll place a (free) list on idntools.net containing unicode/punycode and deletion date...hold a sec..

Ok dunno, there's a free .txt list on there.

I got the same thing earlier. But then I noticed that my browser encoding was not set to utf-8. I think this was done automatically before. After I changed the encoding it was fine.

If you're using FF, go to View -> Character Encoding and select UTF-8

This isn't a permanent solution - after you close your FF, open again, it's back to the same problem.

I PMd Bram about it yesterday. He usually fixes things lickety split.

I also find that Google results aren't being returned as non-zero.

He Mentioned (Bram) that he will be off for about a week

The browser used to recognize the site encoding automatically but as of a couple of days ago that stopped.

Sorry guys/gals, the host reset the permissions for the folders, in doing so they had overwritten the httaccess file, leaving out the crucial line :

AddDefaultCharset utf-8

This is a requirement if you want to perform logical (db) operations with utf8.

Have any of you used the term miner yet ?

I'll code the 'automatic' translator next week, I am actually on vacation right now...

p.s. I should have the daily updater ready by today or tomorrow, I have integrated all the steps to extract the droplists and update the db into one script, this will run on a daily basis at 06.00 AM gmt+1 .
p.p.s. also working on the automatic subscriber, doing it manually is really a bit antique isn't it ;-) .
p.p.p.s had I already said I am on vacation ?....

You can add this line server-wide in your apache control file and never worry about it.
