I picked up ¿¿¿.com and ¡¡¡.com for this very reason.

It may be that they have already moved to the lastest version of Unicode where Dingbats no longer exist!

As long as there is an installed base of users that can type in the dingbat and that generate traffic to the domain, it is worth collecting PPC on it.

Well, if you can show me that you do have "an installed base of users that can type in dingbats that generate traffic", then I would agree that it is worthing fighting for, but I have to say from my interpretations of what I have read, there really is not much hope that Dingbats in particular and most symbols in general will be retained.

Unitl the next version of nameprep is released, and you find it gives an error rather than converting the dingbat to unicode.

Typeable dingbats get typin traffic. Pretty simple.
