Is it worth using the Overture HK market to look up Chinese terms? Are values here larger / more accurate than the US OVT scores?
2 problems:
-HK speak Cantonese.
-HK use Traditional Chinese.

Taiwan OVT is better because they both speak Mandarin. But change the Simplified into Traditional Chinese first.

HK OVT will help too, but also search with Traditional.

It is of limited value as Hong Kong use Traditional Chinese, which overlaps with Simplified but is also often different. HK overture is really only good for monitoring search in Hong Kong, which is probably not the market people are targetting My key criteria for Chinese is the number of Google Adword searches that come up in Google.cn. Google Trends is also a useful tool if you run comparisons against a recognised term.
