Is this the hiragana for glasses? Because OVT shows 104625 メガネ instead????

Looks to me that the angular form is more common than the cursive form.

Yeah, you often see the katakana version around. Not so for the hiragana...

Well, never mind. But it's strange that so many sites still use the hiragana version, so there must be a reason. :)

Well, i took this as the list used the hiragana version. Never mind.

I wish I had a list back in the day!

It's pretty interesting: you plug-in megane in hiragana into the ovt tool, and it spits out the katakana version

Yup, that's why i hesitated registering it. But many sites/shops use the hiragana version.
