IE7 Beta 3 now available in multiple languages (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/11/662579.aspx)

The IE team is proud to announce the availability of Arabic, Finnish, German and Japanese versions of IE7 Beta 3 in addition to the English versions we released a week and a half ago (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/29/649910.aspx).
You can download IE7 Beta 3 from the following locations:
Arabic: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ar-xm/betadownload.mspx
Finnish: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/fi-fi/betadownload.mspx
German: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/de-de/betadownload.mspx
Japanese: http://www.microsoft.com/japan/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx

Do you have any idea why we don't see the Chinese version yet? Is China's market too small for Bill? :)

This is good news, and I think the Chinese
version will probably be done last (doubtless,
they won't want to make any mistakes with
this one as China are a very important market
to them).

At this rate, the final version could well be out
by September!

It is there. I reported it yesterday.

Yesterday's announcements were just clearling the decks. These effectively heralded the announcement of scrapping IE 6.0.

I actually think that IE 7.0 will go now before September. If they don't have issued that cannot be resolved on Auto Update, why do they need to wait. We have already been told that IE 7.0 will be short lived and replaced with IE 8.0.

Yes, I agree IE6 is on its way out; how quickly
that will happen isn't known yet. But, in one way
or another, there has been some pretty heavy
(positive) IDN news from MS recently and I think
they have now shown where their allegiance truly
lies, and it is definitely with IDN.

No doubt, MS see a lot of potential here and when
IE7 is out of the bag it will be a colossal event, not
just for IDN'ers but most of the internet world.

Not sure about timeframe for those, but I
don't think it will be any more than a few
weeks away or less.

Well, it is to some extent. For non XP users it was yesterday! No OS updating means no IE updates either.
