500,000 jp OVT does it worth registering?

I found a japanese IDN that has around 500,000 jp OVT

and around 180 US OVT

it is available to register at the .net only


but when I check the translation it says "thecrappyname"

What do you think does it worth 8$ ?

If it's not a trademark, that domain is worth $8 in the short term...for sure. If it's a trademark, you'll only want to earn from PPC, and Japanese .nets usually have very low PPC.

OVT also has to depend on whether it is single word or double word, many double words have extremely high OVTs, whereas some good single words (especially Chinese characters) might have only 10-20k OVTs.
