To the best of my knoweldge it used to be when "-" made it somewhat better for seo purposes but today it isnt the case and the major engines know to separate a 2 word domain for sure and i believe 3 words also...as for type ins...i think its safe to say domains with "-" get very little if any type ins...for sure alot less then then non "-" version.
