Can someone tell me what I have here?

مامان

I believe it's Persian and has to do with "(baby)-finger-sucking" but could also be used as an adult term by Persians, as in "sucking"?

Any help appreciated.

Well, I'm no expert...

مامان appears to mean "little mother", "kind mother" and is kind of like "mommy" or "mama" in English.

Thanks Fabfive.

I guess I was way off on my speculation :)

i just wanted to help you as an arabic native speaker
but am very sorry to tell you that مامان has no mean in arabic at all
to be sure more you can use google translator to have the meaning of مامان on this link:
http://www.google.com/translate_t
it will show you that
مامان=maman
in arabic,
M=م
a=ا
n=ن

this name can have just one mean -which arabic users won't accept-
ماما+ن
ماما=mama (my mother)

as i saied ن=n
thats all, i hope i helped you :)
* am very sorry if help is too late, i didn't enter the forum from a long time ;)

The word actually means "mother" in Farsi is an everyday word... I'm not sure what the value of the domain would be, but it is a common word that means mother, but in farsi.

I don't speak farsi, but hear my friends call their mother this almost everyday
