Bill, those are all letters in other languages - ë is cyrillic I believe, ö could be german or swedish, ï is ukrainian. The domains themselves are just not words in any language.

They MAY be useful for SEO - for engines that give accented letters the same weight as their non-accented counterparts.

But that's the only thing I can think of.
