"Google provides tools for tailor-made search engines..." (http://www.smh.com.au/news/Technology/Google-provides-tools-for-tailormade-search-engines/2006/10/24/1161455702722.html)

Hoping to leave an even bigger imprint on the Internet, Google Inc. is opening up its vast online index so other websites can build their own specialty search engines.

The free service, unveiled late Monday, marks Google's latest attempt to expand its lucrative online advertising network and extend its influence on how people navigate the Internet.

Interesting development...anyone had a play with this yet?

I will be looking to integrate it into my 日本の都市.com (http://www.日本の都市.com) Network I am building.

Could be a good way to generate a lot of returning visitors to a site...

Got to tell you Seamo
You beat me to this post.

I already integrated Google adsense search to one of my IDN Domains last week & noticed that you can make the search results stay onsite.

It doesn't have a language lock yet like the Adsense integrated search.

I have a few Keyword+Search.com & jps

This is a perfect chance to try it out & develop a few sites at the same time.

Unlike Adsense, you can promote this baby to your hearts content.

I like searchngine.co.in ,I have many premium .co.in names.

Maybe two of my ASCII names ( Am I allowed to say that :) ) will come to the fore with recent announcements.

AsiaDomainName.com & CustomizedSearchEngine.com

Google COOP CSE does not yet support foreign languages, so IDN domains are out of luck.

Adsense for search, however, does. The main difference between the products is that adsense for search does not allow you to define a set of websites to search. You can search your own site or "the web". Google COOP CSE, when it supports foreign languages, will allow you to define a subset of "the web." So you would be able to search, for example, the main sites in your language that represent a specific vertical. So let's say you own "sweater.com" in chinese. You could create a vertical search engine for the top ten sweater sites in your language. You would make money off of PPC that google runs against the search results. With Adsense for search you can only search your own site and then whatever google decides is relevant to a sweater search on the rest of the web.

Hope that makes sense.
