I don't know how seriously they would take it, but it wouldn't hurt anything. But um wait to do it so we can clean up the rest of the un-trademarked and branded names.

The difficulty of course is who to send it to. Microsoft, for example, where do you start?

That said, in Japanese, you will find that many major companies already own their .jp in IDN.

One thing which you can help is to find the microsoft developer of IE7 and tell them Firefox allows IDNs to be entered with switching keys, but IE7 doesn't.
