One thing I notice now is that I am getting more steady traffic to my IDNs.

However, some domains that used to receive traffic are dormant, and domains that never saw traffic get a daily workout.

For example, 週間.com and フェティッシュ.com are getting traffic and my usually heavy adult Russian traffic is down while the traffic to clean domains is way up (especially female names). Hebrew is getting steady, but only a few names.

Anyone else?

I think it is to be expected that there will be a gradual shift in the nature of traffic.

Much of the early traffic will be techy, domainer and sex related. As the market matures it will evolve probably to a similar profile to that experienced in the west.

Hee hee hee The West? That would be porn.... :p

Seriously, we can't generalize or compare it to the West, methinks. I will sit back and watch. I am getting more techy/computer/web design type searches and a lot less sex and dating traffic. Strange....

My french and Russian went up by 20%. Japanese doubled??? German went up moderately.

Anyone see similar trends? The rise is definitely significant. Not sure if it's the Christmas effect?

Yes I can confirm. My japanese .com's have significantly rose in traffic. They are second now only to my Russian in terms of overal traffic, although they make more revenue. Higher PPC.

Early November was bad for me. Things are much better this month.

Sometimes, indexing can cloud the overall picture, try minusing out names with exceptionally high traffic, and compare the rest.

I think you can attribute the French figures to IE7 and Firefox rollouts.

I have given up guessing on Japanese. It will happen, but I am not sure how and when!

From my analytics, IE7 still makes less than 0.1% (negligible) of French traffic. Firefox traffic is about 10%.

Well if that is really the case, which actually I doubt, then Microsofts promises relating to Latin rollout has been a complete load of crap.

Yes, Analytics data on French traffic. I've also got Analytics for a US traffic website with IE7 at 14%, IE6 at 70%, Firefox at 10%.

The difference between AU and no AU. Sometimes, autocracy really works. :)

Anyone who has analytics for japanese, pls contribute your browser mix stats.
