It took me well over an hour to connect yesterday morning.

Timeouts seem to have increased in frequency the last week or so.

Today seems fine but the last few days have been horrible.

The db is the problem, I ran a couple tests to verify, real easy, takes just a few mins to repair and optimize and also when that is done some chron jobs should be set to keep the db shiny and clean :) If olney needs a hand I am glad to offer.

Yes. A database optimisation and some mySQL tuning would do wonders.
