Might not be true, Singapore hgas the highest savings rate in the world at 50% of income, exceeding china, korea and japan, yet, credit cards and personal lenders are making good money.

There are ppl that save, and there are ppl that spend. There are ppl with money locked in FDs and they use credit for daily expenses.
