I have a practice site up but does not display Japanese characters correctly for many even though they have Jap. language enabled, explorer 7, etc. Thought it might be something in the meta that was wrong. Can any one please tell me if they can see what I have done wrong ? I appreciate your input. Thank you.

I'm not sure if you changed something already but it shows up fine on my PC.
I looked at it on IE7 & Firefox.

Also you have
"Robots" "No archive" in your code
This tells the search engines not to index your pages.

:rolleyes: Hmm. Thanks for the reply. Have not changed anything. Part of the meta showed up funny when I posted it once.
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOARCHIVE">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="ja">
<meta name="description" content="子供本">
<meta name="keywords" content="子供本,出版会社,写真,本の名前,著者,リンク.childrensbooks,">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
<title>homepage</title>
</head>
Also the meta NOARCHIVE, I thought was so the bots would not cache the snapshot. Wanted to remove a cache of when the domain name was parked.
Wonder why some folks have trouble viewing the charcater correctly. Thanks again. llace
Hmm again, This time all the meta views correctly. LOL go figure..
