JPRS drops .jp price

JPRS The Japan registry Service dropped the price of ASCII jps by 500 yen (about $4.50)
While it's still at 2,500 yen for the registries selling jp domains it's 1000 yen cheaper than when the .jp extension started only 6 years ago.

Even though ASCII dot jps are usually around 3,600 yen a year
JPRS are giving big discounts to registries to promote IDN.jp

There are several registries already selling IDN.jp under 700 yen ($6.20 about)

I just registred a .jp (ascii) for $60 at jp-domains. I am interested in regging at least 50 ascii .jps if they can drop the price down to lower than $15.

No wonder I'm the only one who sees the value of getting both ASCII.jp & IDN.jp
