A search for "british ale" on google only gives ~32K results, OTOH it would be good advertising for a beer maker - easy to remember name.

The term we use here in the UK is "real ale"

Yes, but that's not the crowd I'm after with this name. The target is any company other than a british company.

Think about it, who in the USA would by a hamburger sauce in the store called "American Sauce" ? Not the majority; they want to know what kind of sauce it is. But that "American Sauce" stuff sells like cheap beer before payday in other countries.
