Yes, and we had Save.mobi last week at on DNJ at $10,600 bucks. These results are, however, from older deals as much of last weeks Auctions will not even have been processed yet. But come on SAVE? In dot com that has to be worth at least seven figures.

I would say that when flowers sold it was close to a tenth of the value of its dot com counterpart, these lastest results don't seem to be more than about 100th.

.mobi fate is years away until we see if they develop mobile devices that "default" automatically to .mobi,
and those devices catch on with consumers. That is the potential maybe worth speculating on if you have
the right domain names in the right niche.

Well one of us is!

It would seem that the Super Premium releases slated for the Live Auction have been pulled. Somebody has got the wind up.

Hope you are right on the IDN. It is going to happen sometime this year. Whether or not it will happen in Vegas, who knows!

Problem is that browser that default automatically to dot com are already here and many site are already sensing what mobile device you have and sending you to a page with the appropriate format.

Mobile browsing is definitely coming. The technology required to support it is already here and not in the least bit dependent on dot Mobi. Implementation in the US is a long way behind the Far East. Major Telecoms companies introduce products in China first now, as that is seen as the key market. By the time a lot of this stuff shows up in the States, it will be old hat.

Probably will start with a mega sale from the new regs of .ws & .hk then all hell will break loose - those with the top.com IDN may have to wait a while longer. ;)

There are a lot of unreported .mobi sales going on right now. It's much like IDNs, people want to keep prices low by not reporting high sales.
