I am sure this has been addressed here before, but I can't locate it.

Can anyone confirm that .cn and .中国 both belong to the one who registers either?

I believe CNNIC sort of communicates that they are equal, but I didn't see any place they just came out and said it.

Check your registration confirmation from cnnic. Says it right there.

When you reg IDN.cn you also pay for IDN.中国, both its Traditional and Simplified version. But ASCII.cn reg does not include .中国.
