Re: [MobilePhone].com - Chinese
Renegotiated with Jose on this one....
Jose was disappointed on this closing at $10.
Can't blame him.
I agreed that this name is worth more than $10 of course.
I believe that honesty, transparency, good faith, and reputation are important.
I felt that it was more honorable to pay the BIN of $100, than to pay $10 and have Jose be resentful and disappointed etc..
For he and I to have good standing with each other, and on the forum is important.
Additionally, I have used the idntools site enough, that the $90 increment is
a gesture to him from me as well.
I thought it important to post that this transaction is a $100 transaction etc..
Now, if only Nokia, Samsung , LG, or Apple or Motorola etc....would return my calls now........(grin)......
thx.

I assume you mean idn.bz as jose has no connection to idntools

Re: [MobilePhone].com - Chinese
Just for the record, Steve is not bragging. It was me who insisted he should post the bought at bin.

Excellent gesture. Rep added. Certainly anomalies with domain sales these days.

Re: [MobilePhone].com - Chinese
Gentlemen,
thank you all for your kind comments.
Sorry on the confusion of idntools and idn.biz
Guess now I am on the hook to send Alpha and Bram a hundred bucks ...huh ?? (grin)
but I have used the idn.biz a lot too......to be fair to Jose....
Avatar forum name confusion on my part is an A.D.D thing...(grin)...
I know the Chinese guys by name, because I have been a good spot buyer for them...
It is fun to PM in my broken Chinese with them...
My spoken Chinese is still spotty....getting the 1-4 tones wrong consistently....
getting horse, mother, and marijuana with 'ma' has been a consistent funny error when rattling along with a Yank accent........(grin)
but to the tone of the forum recently...........
yes, I am upset that forum sales are anemic , and transaction prices are not
Ethiopian in stature here... ........in German no less......
WTF ?????????
If that sale had been Italian... I could have figured on a secretive fascist or mafiosi with an IL Duce complex ......
insert favorite Michael Corleone line from Godfather saga here........
mine is......
"' It's Business Sonny, strictly business'......." before having a glass of wine
and a piss and then shooting a police chief and a heroin mob boss before
embarking for Sicily for a one year retreat .......(grin)
I can sense that the ICANN board is not going to let the IP lawyers or the RTL problems derail cctld and IDN gtld grandfathering.....
to me its a ( 2 +3 =5 ) for in the open plain site...but impenetrable to all but
DNS and people who actually know what a root zone server does..
and ( -10 + 15 = 5 ) which is us.....trying to make sense of what is said, what is written, and who said it........
anyway...Jose was gracious to ask me to post here about the BIN.
so again thanks, it means a lot...
So to us IDNers...I hoist a shooter of Talisker 12 year to our multi language honor........
Henry V..........
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a-tiptoe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall see this day and live t'old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say "To-morrow is Saint Crispian":
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars
And say "These wounds I had on Crispin's day."
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remembered.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he today that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now abed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day. (IV, iii)
so.....with no lash back from that fine whisky........
the ASCII forum people can bugger off......(grin)
insert imaginary glass smash in the fireplace sound here....(grin)
