some analysts say the recent drop in Bitcoin was a "coordinated attack" by big investors.

Now for those saying, how can crypto be taken seriously when a large group of investors do a coordinated attack like that, may I remind of the 2020 Corona stock market dump, GME, Tesla and all of the manipulations going on all the time in the stock markets. But, now this same guy that predicted the two flash crashes is saying it’s going to go up hard now.

Also, this guy found that the companies that held largest amounts of Bitcoin have increased their stack by 15% from 1,400,000 coins to 1,650,993 BTC, now making up 7.86% of the total Bitcoin supply. This was probably due to only a few companies on that list doubling their Bitcoin holdings. Not sure who it was exactly, because there was no screenshot of the site from a couple of weeks ago, but it was probably only a few who caused this crash.
So what should you do? Follow the money and look at what the big guys do, not what they say. END QUOTE

seems the word of the day is just HODL (hold for the long term) and wait for it to go back up. some say it will do $100k by end of year, some say much higher.

If we assume BTC resembles previous cycles with diminishing returns but without longer cycles it would be 120k top around August,September, October.

Last two cycles ended in December so maybe this could extend a few more months.

If we assume no diminishing returns, we could see a 300k top but I think that is far too optimistic. More realistic is 100-200k, I think everything above 100k is already very high.

Once Alts and BTC go parabolic and BTC breaches 100k there would be a good chance of final top and it would make sense to either take some profits to fiat or get into a defensive position by selling to BTC since most Alts will lose 90%-99% of their value in a 2 year bear market and many will never come back.

Others say the cycles will be longer and BTC will top in 2022 or even 2023 and before that we will experience a small bear market with BTC dropping as low as 20k.

Third option is we are already past the top and will experience a 2 year bear market.

I think option 1 is most likely, history just repeating itself but I could see option 2 playing out as well.

Three seems too pessimistic with all the stuff that happened last year and it would have been an unusually short bull market but who knows.

I think Bitcoin is solid for the long run, but if it goes to $100k you only triple your money if you get in now..

Might be less risk and way more upside potential with Etherium or XRP which are the two i seem to read the most about having good solid practical day to day use for commerce.

At this stage Altcoins are a higher risk higher reward play. If Bitcoin does a 3x Alts could do a 6x but if BTC drops 50% Alts could lose 75% of their value.

a lot of writers think ETH (Etherium) might be one of the more conservative plays for the long run.

Not an NFT.....but Etherium looks to be a good investment for the long run.

There is a crypto-style mutual fund of sorts. 1/3rd BTC 1/3rd ETH and 1/3rd DeFi tokens, which I like. I can't find the ticker symbol right now.
