I wouldn't recommend that. This is used on rare occasions when an adjective follows i.g. "Spiele gratis" but then again it should always be better the other way round.

The hyphen is mainly used as a word seperator so check SERPS and GAKT. Whenever the separate way of spelling is prefered (it's not always easy to determine) the hyphen is fine. Avoid it for compound words which are not usually spelt separately.

BTW: What do you mean by "branding purposes"? Brandables as opposed to search keywords? Close to impossible for a foreigner to judge what is a good German brandable imo.
